Fragile When Wet

**It&rsquo;s safe to comb hair when wet.**

Are you too aggressive when brushing or combing your wet hair?  You might&rsquo;ve noticed that more strands than usual snapped off in your brush. It&rsquo;s no surprise &ndash; hair swells when it&rsquo;s wet, making it fragile and more susceptible to breakage. The best way to detangle wet hair is to use a wide-tooth comb or pick, and gently work from the ends up to the root. Also, avoid using an actual brush until your hair is dry &ndash; brushes have many teeth, which can stretch wet hair to the breaking point.
